Guest Posting Guidelines
- Post must be roughly 2000-3000 words of in-depth, high-quality content
- Post should have an opening hook to draw readers in, 1 central idea/purpose, subheadings and/or bulleted lists to make it “scannable”, and a strong conclusion that recaps what was covered in the post.
- Post must be well written and include illustrations/examples in the form of screenshots where applicable
- Article must include either personal experiences and/or case studies of others’ blogs with real data. Article must be persuasive (not salesy), actionable and interesting.
- You will get an author bio with 1 link back to your blog or web page of your choice – make it count! No affiliate links please.
- Please note: there will be an editorial process. I may change the title, content or style of your post to ensure it meets standards and best serves the Smart Mom Blogger audience and brand. You will get to review the final version before it’s published.
Get Paid to Write for Smart Mom Blogger
Base payment is $15 per post, and you can also earn bonus payments based on how many unique visitors your post attracts within the first 30 days of publication. Payment will be made via Paypal on the 1st day of the month following the 30 day period. Bonus payout scale is as follows:
- 500 – 1000 visitors: $5.00
- 1001 – 2000: $10.00
- 2001 – 3000: $25.00
- 3001- 5000: $35.00
- 5,001 or more: $50.00
Submission Guidelines
Please use the form below to send the following info:
- Your name, blog url, and email
- A “working title” for the post you’d like to write
- A basic outline with a 1-3 sentence summary of what your article’s angle will be
- The main headings & sub-headings you plan to use.
- 1-3 links to examples of posts you’ve already written (either on your own blog or elsewhere) that you feel are your best work and representative of what you will contribute to Smart Mom Blogger.
